Tangent Calculator

The calculator will calculate the tangent of a given angle. In the calculator, you can use simple math operations like multiplication and use the word pi to write the number Pi. So you can write an angle of size "two Pi" radians as 2pi.

What is the tangent function

The tangent of an angle alpha is equal to the quotient of sine alpha divided by cosine alpha, or

$$\tan(\alpha)=\frac{\sin \alpha}{\cos \alpha}$$
